Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) is a hybrid therapy model that combines elements of hypnotherapy, psychotherapy, neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). It aims to identify and resolve the root causes of emotional and behavioural issues through Hypnosis and targeted therapeutic techniques.

Hypnotherapy is a therapeutic technique that uses Hypnosis to access the subconscious mind. During a hypnotherapy session, the client is guided into deep relaxation and focused attention, allowing the therapist to make suggestions and explore subconscious patterns, beliefs, and memories.

RTT works by helping individuals access their subconscious mind to uncover the underlying causes of their issues. RTT aims to create positive and lasting changes in behaviour and emotional well-being by identifying and reframing limiting beliefs, emotions, and patterns. The therapy typically involves a combination of regression, Hypnosis, and cognitive techniques tailored to the individual's needs.

RTT is generally safe and suitable for most individuals. However, it may not be appropriate for individuals with severe mental health conditions, certain medical conditions, or those unwilling to engage in the therapeutic process. There are a few contraindications and considerations to keep in mind.

Here are some contraindications to consider:

Severe Mental Health Conditions: Individuals with severe mental health conditions, such as schizophrenia, psychosis or bipolar disorder, may require specialized treatment and should consult with their mental health provider before pursuing RTT or hypnotherapy.

Epilepsy or Seizure Disorders: Hypnotherapy involves relaxation techniques and potential alterations in brain wave activity, which may trigger seizures in individuals with epilepsy or seizure disorders. It's crucial to consult with a medical professional before undergoing hypnotherapy.

Substance Abuse or Addiction: While RTT can be beneficial for addressing the underlying emotional causes of substance abuse or addiction, it's essential to work with a practitioner specializing in addiction treatment and have a supportive treatment plan in place.

Certain Medical Conditions: Individuals with certain medical conditions should consult their healthcare provider before starting hypnotherapy to ensure it does not interfere with their condition or treatment.

Unwillingness to Engage in the Process: RTT and hypnotherapy require active participation and willingness to explore and address underlying issues. Someone resistant or unwilling to engage in the therapeutic process may limit the effectiveness of the treatment.

Remember, this is not an exhaustive list; individual circumstances may vary. You must disclose any relevant medical or mental health conditions to your therapist and seek professional guidance to determine if RTT or hypnotherapy suits you.

In an RTT session, you will have an initial consultation with the therapist to discuss your goals and concerns. The therapist will guide you into a relaxed state using Hypnosis, and together, you will explore relevant memories and experiences from your past. The therapist will then work with you to reframe and transform any limiting beliefs or emotions. Sessions are typically 90 minutes to two hours long.

The number of sessions required can vary depending on the individual and the issue being addressed. While some clients may experience significant improvements after just one session, others may benefit from multiple sessions to achieve their desired outcomes. The therapist will work with you to create a personalized treatment plan based on your needs and goals.

No, Hypnosis used in RTT is not the same as stage hypnosis. In RTT, the purpose of Hypnosis is therapeutic rather than for entertainment. The client remains fully aware, in control, and can remember the session. The therapist acts as a guide to facilitate the exploration and transformation of subconscious patterns and beliefs.

The success rates of Rapid Transformational Therapy (RTT) and hypnotherapy can vary depending on several factors, including the individual's specific issue, their level of engagement, the skill of the therapist, and the treatment plan. While providing an exact success rate is challenging, these therapeutic approaches have shown promising results for many individuals. According to some research studies, Hypnosis has a 93% success rate with fewer sessions than behavioural and psychotherapy.
